The Shop  - http://www.theshopjesuslane.co.uk/ - a few doors down from us at no. 18 are running 'Make Do and Mend' from 12 noon till 4 pm - "This event will showcase subversive glamour: guests are invited to bring unwanted clothing that they can swap for something new and more covetable. The ‘Stitch Up’ girls will attend the event to help customise and decorate the clothing. In addition, fashion and accessories designed by local makers will be on sale. Entrance 50p."

And hopefully (providing we find volunteers at this short notice - my bad for leaving it so late) we'll be open for that time and a bit later (or whenever we can mange) to provide refreshments and a place to chat for participants, plus anyone else who comes in.
